Sarah Jackson, Senpai

Instructor

Senpai Sarah Jackson started training at The Martial Arts Center in 2005 in the Fitness Kickboxing class.  In 2006 she moved into the Adult Karate class. In 2010 she obtained her Shodan from Sensei Deborah Toth.

She has had the opportunity to train with numerous Karate masters including Sensei Teruo Chinen before his passing in 2015.

Presently,

Senpai Jackson holds the rank of Sandan (3rd Degree Black Belt) in Karate under the Eastern Martial Arts Coalition (EMAC). Additionally, she has earned a Sandan (3rd Degree Black Belt) in Okinawan Kobudo, specifically in the Matayoshi Lineage, through the Okinawa Kobudo Doushi Rensei-Kai (OKDR).

Her commitment to continuous improvement and her passion for martial arts make her an integral part of the Martial Arts Center in Niagara Falls. She inspires and mentors students of all ages and backgrounds, fostering a supportive and inclusive environment. Her dedication extends beyond her own training, as her two boys also train at the dojo, creating a family legacy of martial arts excellence. Her influence and guidance help shape the next generation of martial artists, ensuring that the values and skills learned at the Martial Arts Center benefit both individuals and the community.
